Birthday Drama
Made for The Impossible Jam, started the day after my wife's birthday.
Help Driver get ready for a coworker's birthday. Grab ingredients for the cake, dig up a gift, and invite the bosses to join the party!
Controls:
- Left Mouse Click/Drag
- W, S, A, D to move (sometimes just A and D)
- Space
- O
- 5
Note: You have to hold the Space bar and run into the crate to pick it up, then keep holding Space to hold onto the crate. In the boss scene, just hold the '5' key and run into them!
Not my best work by far, and sooooo much left undone. But the challenge was fun and I had a great time. Hope it's at least halfway understandable!

It looks like I need to edit the placement of some things... one of the little office worker guys' head got cut off. And he had the best animations!
Oh man, such a shame that the upload failed, but i know put your game in the jam description...it's amazing how you managed to incorporate all the assets and how you got a half-way understadable story working with just the words from the text file xD. The minigames were also really fun, but i didn't understand them at first, for example the one where you have to collect ingredients, i didn't notice the ingredients in the background.
But all in all, really funny and fun game. Well done! :D
Thank you. I had a lot of fun sticking ONLY to the text file, and using every single image and sound. I wanted to make music with the sounds but I ran out of time. Still, a good experience. Thanks for taking a look!
